Read magazines that seem weird to you because you do not usually read them. You will get great insights and new ideas by looking at material you usually ignore like:

  • Better Homes and Gardens
  • Wired
  • People
  • Time
  • Ninja Monthly

You never know where your next breakthrough inspiration may come from.

What weird magazines could you check for ideas?

Really?  Ninja's are too cool to have a magazine.  If you need Ninja Info you just go to the Ninja Secret Headquarters.  As for the remainder of the post I completly agree.  Of course I cannot afford to go buy all of those or spend hours in a store looking at magazines.  The library is a good place to find them all in one place, but I usually wind up doing this at doctors and dentist offices, in hotel rooms, on airplanes, or at the barber.  If you see a good article, take a photo with your phone to help remember.  Nothing like a good twitpic to jog your memory.
